A trip to Iowa City

imageThis weekend, my grandpa and I traveled to Iowa City to visit my brother for supper and a movie. Of course, he got to pick the restaurant, but it was absolutely delicious. We went to Red’s Alehouse in North Liberty. They are famous for their home aide beer, big burgers, and flatbread pizzas. I ventured and got the Balsamic Chicken Flatbread. It is a thin crunchy flatbread crust topped with juicy chicken, mozzarella cheese, bruschetta, and a balsamic glaze. It was absolutely delicious. Surprisingly, it was a very big pizza, so I decided to share. http://redsalehouse.com/menus/food-menu/

After supper, we went to downtown Iowa City to a frozen yogurt shop called Yotopia. There were 10 delicious favors. I got blueberry cheesecake and cake batter. I got a ton of toppings including cheesecake bites, cookie dough, and fresh blueberries. It was about 90 degrees out, so it was very refreshing.
